I ran into two long-time campers today and started chatting about this summer. Right there in the produce department, Hannah helped me pick two new group names while Jake asked whether his favorite counselor, Darrell, was returning.

Watching their excitement about this summer reminded me of how fortunate I am to do what I do. I truly believe that recognizing children for trying hard and doing nice things for others not only builds character and self esteem but makes this world a better place.
