Cost: $100 (tax deductible) per family for one new bike and helmet to be donated to Project Denver kids August 12th!

Wish for Wheels’ mission is to transform the lives of kids from low-income families, broadening their scope for personal growth and a healthy lifestyle through the gift of a new bicycle. It brings communities together, gives many of us the opportunity to give back, and most importantly puts a whole lot of smiles on a whole lot of faces.

Dream BIG Day Camp and Wish for Wheels are teaming up to create an event that will be mutually beneficial to all participants. Builders will be given the unique opportunity to assemble a bicycle and present it to another child. The recipients of these new bicycles (and helmets) will experience the joy of receiving a gift they can call their very own. Each ticket purchased will enable a builder and/or his or her parent(s) to build one bicycle for a Project Denver camper.

Project Denver enables approximately 90 children to “play camp” with Dream BIG Day Camp’s staff who volunteers their time to children who otherwise would be unable to attend camp. The camp is completely free of charge to these youngsters and runs from August 11th to the 15th.

Purchase a ticket, bring a picnic dinner and come build bikes and enjoy the activities (Family Softball, Climbing Wall and Movie Night). Return with your family on August 12th and hand deliver the new bikes to the kids from Project Denver.
